SEA
Yachts and waterfront operations where crew, maintenance, vendors, provisioning, itineraries, guest readiness, and communication must remain coordinated with discretion.
About Aumakua Group
In Hawaiian tradition, an ʻaumakua is a trusted guide and protector — a presence associated with wisdom, oversight, and continuity across generations.
Aumakua Group takes its name from that idea.
I work inside complex environments where expectations are high, systems are layered, and problems are rarely obvious.
My role is to see what others miss, clarify what is actually happening, and bring structure back to the people, systems, and responsibilities that hold everything together.
Discreet. Direct. Effective.
Founder & Principal
Aumakua Group was founded by Wrenn Wynkoop from a career spent operating inside complex environments where expectations are high, responsibilities overlap, and execution cannot be left to chance.
His experience spans private residences, hospitality, property operations, projects, vendors, infrastructure, service environments, and the systems required to keep them working together. That breadth shaped a simple observation: many operational problems are not caused by a lack of capable people, but by unclear ownership, fragmented communication, undefined standards, and systems that depend too heavily on individual knowledge.
Aumakua was built to address those conditions.
Wrenn leads the firm's strategy, advisory work, product development, operating systems, technology, client relationships, and continued expansion. His focus is on making complex environments easier to understand, stronger to operate, and less dependent on any one person.
The work is grounded in a straightforward principle:
Complex environments perform best when expectations, authority, accountability, communication, and execution are intentionally aligned.

Where I Work
Every complex environment deserves trusted stewardship. Across sea, land, and air, Aumakua brings clarity, continuity, and operational disciplineto the assets and environments where life and business intersect.
Yachts and waterfront operations where crew, maintenance, vendors, provisioning, itineraries, guest readiness, and communication must remain coordinated with discretion.
Private estates, residences, business interests, and complex properties where clear responsibility, dependable systems, and disciplined stewardship protect continuity over time.
Private aviation and executive travel environments where preparation, timing, handoffs, service coordination, and reliable follow-through matter.
Complex private operations rarely exist in one place. The assets, people, systems, vendors, and responsibilities around them must work together.
What I Bring
My work is not about adding more process for the sake of process. It is about identifying what is actually happening, clarifying ownership, and creating enough structure for execution to hold.
Seeing repeated issues, hidden dependencies, and weak points before they become larger failures.
Defining who owns what, where decisions sit, and where accountability has become assumed.
Turning priorities into visible next steps, follow-through, and measurable progress.
Handling sensitive environments with restraint, confidentiality, and practical decision-making.
